The Artiphon

I think that the Artiphon is the most important invention of 2015.  The Artiphon is a multi instrument that you can strum like a guitar, or you can tap like a piano & many more.  The size of an Artiphon is about the size of  a violin.  There are three different styles for the Artiphon white, black & Nashville edition.  The Artiphon has a very neat case that you can even carry on your back.  If you wanted to get the Artiphon it would cost around $399.99.  For these reasons this is why the Aritiphon is the most important invention of 2015 in my opinion.logo-retina

Star Facts

You may be thinking what is a star( I’m just joking of course you know what a star is). A star is formed when gas & dust form together & somehow gets big enough to heat up & creates a star.

sunimage

This is our star (the sun) you might think that our sun is so gargantuan  ( that means super huge) Well you are correct & incorrect. You are correct because to me & you its huge but to the universe we are like an electrobolt.

Here is a video of a super nova.

This is Arcturus and Aldebaran they are the third and fourth biggest suns.

CelesImg_StarSize4

Arcturus is 37 light years away from our sun.  Aldebaran is 67 light years away from our sun.

This is Rigel.

Rigel is 860 light years away from our sun.

This is VY Canis Majoris next to our sun.

tumblr_m6jxl2ux9y1rytucwo1_500

VY Canis Majoris is 4,000 light years away.  It is in the constellation of Canis Major.  Extremely large stars (such as VY Canis Majoris) burn their fuel really quickly so VY Canis Majoris would only last a couple million years but such as our sun would supposedly last a couple billion years.  VY Canis Majoris is supposedly going to explode in about 100,000 years.

Berries That You Can Eat If Found In The Wild

Berries You Can Eat

Blackberries:

Many wild berries are not safe to eat, it’s best to stay away from them. But wild blackberries are 100% safe to eat and easy to recognize. They have red branches that have long thorns similar to a rose, the green leaves are wide and jagged. They are best to find in the spring when their white flowers bloom. They are clustered all around the bush and their flowers have 5 points. The berries ripen around August to September.

Dandelions:

The easiest to recognize is the dandelion, in the spring they show their bright yellow buds. You can eat the entire thing raw or cook them to take away the bitterness, usually in the spring they are less bitter. They are packed with Vitamin A and Vitamin C, and beta carotene.

Asparagus:

The vegetable that makes your pee smell funny grows in the wild in most of Europe and parts of North Africa, West Asia, and North America. Wild asparagus has a much thinner stalk than the grocery-store variety. It’s a great source of source of vitamin C, thiamine, potassium and vitamin B6. Eat it raw or boil it like you would your asparagus at home.

Elderberries:

An elderberry shrub can grow easily grow about 10 feet and yield tons of food. Their leaf structure is usually 7 main leaves on a long stretched out stem. The leaves are long and round and the leaves themselves have jagged edges. These are easiest to identify in the spring as they blossom with white clustered flowers that resembles an umbrella. Mark the spot and harvest the berries when they’re ripe around September. Elderberries are known for their flu and cold healing properties, you can make jelly from them and are very sweet and delicious.

Gooseberries:

These are also common in the woods in northern Missouri, the branches are grey and have long red thorns, and the leaves are bright green and have 5 points. They have rounded edges and look similar to the shape of a maple leaf. The flowers in the spring are very odd looking. They are bright red and hang down. The berries ripen around late May or early June.

Mulberries:

Mulberry leaves have two types, one spade shape and a 5 fingered leaf. Both have pointed edges.

Pine:

There are over a hundred different species of pine. Not only can the food be used as a supply of nourishment but it also can be used for medicinal purposes. Simmer a bowl of water and add some pine needles to make tea. Native Americans used to ground up pine to cure scurvy. It’s rich in vitamin C.

Kudzu:

Pretty much the entire plant is edible and is also known for medicinal values. The leaves can be eaten raw, steam or boiled. The root can be eaten as well. (like all herbs, pregnant women and breast-feeding woman should consult a physician first before use)

Day Lily:

You can find this plant in many parts of the country, These are not Tiger Lilies or Easter Lilies (which are toxic), a Day Lily is completely safe to eat. Day Lilies have bright orange flowers that come straight out of the ground, their main stock/stem has no leaves so that’s your confirmation that it’s a day lily, if you see an orange six-petal flower like this one that has a bear stem (no leaves) it’s a Day Lily. You can eat them whole or cook them or put them in salads.

Pulmonoscorpius

One of the prehistoric scorpions the is deadly Pulmonoscorpius. It lives in the swampy rain forest of the known location Scotland,‭ ‬West Lothian &‭ ‬East Kirkton although most scorpions prefer the semi-arid regions & deserts. You might think  the Pulmonoscorpius is very big but it is believed to be only 50-70 centimeters long or Pulmonoscorpius could have reached over two feet (60 cm). It has a very venomous stinger. This stinger would probably have killed using the venom in its tail. This is inferred because it had small pincers and a thick tail which generally means that it killed by poisoning its prey. It hunted by ambushing its prey and then stinging its prey until the prey died. It then would have then sucked all its bodily fluids. The Pulmonoscorpius kills its victims using a venomous sting, the symptoms of which include:

  • Chills after the first few minutes
  • Shaking and convulsions after about a half hour
  • Numbness after an hour
  • Hallucinations after about two hours
  • Heart failure after roughly 16 hours

The Pulmonoscorpius lived before the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs lived 65 million years ago. The Pulmonoscorpius lived 400 million years ago. It is also probable that Pulmonoscorpius had good vision (for a scorpion) because of its abnormally large eyes. If you ever saw the deadly Pulmonoscorpius you would probably want a flashlight because Pulmonoscorpius is greatly irritated by bright light sources.

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT THIS ANIMAL EXISTS?

Be Thankful

I am thankful for my parents because I would not be able to go to my sport lessons & my sports  games that are soccer & baseball. My thanks to them would also be making me food, dinner, lunch & breakfast, buying me socks, pants, shirts & shoes. While they also give me shelter, letting me go to school, celebrating my birthday, getting to go on vacations & letting me visit my family, letting me get my flu shot & vaccines, they let me go to the dentist.
